    Overview

    The role is for a Senior DevOps Engineer – Infra Services at Five9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software. This position is focused on implementing and supporting DNS and Kubernetes architecture in a private cloud environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement and support large scale DNS Architecture across multiple regions.
    • Implement and support Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), Cloudflare DNS management, Google, and AWS DNS services.
    • Implement and support multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters leveraging BareMetal servers and Software defined storage protocols.
    • Leverage Infrastructure as Code with CI/CD automation, Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi, Python, and Bash for automated provisioning of DNS services.
    • Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms using GitOps principles.
    • Harden services for high availability, disaster recovery, and scale-out operations.
    • Perform troubleshooting and performance analysis of Infrastructure services.
    • Participate in Change management and Global team collaboration, including on-call rotation.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years in managing global DNS and Kubernetes on Linux Operating Systems.
    • Expertise with Infoblox DDI systems and other enterprise DNS systems.
    • Strong experience managing Kubernetes and Ubuntu Linux systems.
    • Experience in automating infrastructure processes with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong Linux systems engineering background with advanced scripting skills.
    • Familiarity with various Infrastructure technology stacks.
    • Experience supporting mission-critical 24x7 customer-facing production environments.
    • Ability to write technical documentation.

    Location

    This role is fully remote for candidates outside the 30-mile radius of an office or Hybrid for those within that radius requiring three in-office days a week.
