Overview

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer role at Hiya is focused on enhancing the company's security posture across all engineering departments. This leadership and individual contributor position involves designing and implementing automated security solutions to help both SMB and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-quarter security roadmap for the entire engineering organization.
• Develop and maintain platform-level security tools for automated, self-service security.
• Partner with Core Tech to integrate security practices into CI/CD and cloud deployment workflows.
• Conduct assessments of current security posture to identify technical debt risks.
• Mentor junior and peer engineers, promoting a security-integrated culture.
• Stay informed about evolving threats, particularly in supply chains and AI infrastructure.
• Manage existing detection, SIEM, and incident-response tools.
• Collaborate with IT on AI usage risks.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture (AWS) and security best practices.
• Proven experience in designing 'self-service' platforms.
