Overview

One Earth seeks a Senior Director of Programs & Impact to lead and integrate its expanding ecosystem of programs connecting science, culture, and capital.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation, and refinement of program strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
Translate strategy into clear goals, workplans, and success metrics.
Contribute to senior management and oversee daily program operations.
Manage the Solutions Finance program and ecosystem of tools and initiatives.
Identify risks and collaborate on solutions.
Develop partnership strategies and support grant writing and reporting.
Represent One Earth at key events and with stakeholders.
Ensure programs promote equity, accessibility, and cultural responsiveness.
Supervise program staff and manage relationships with contractors and partners.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
Develop and oversee program budgets; monitor expenses and ensure strategic resource management.
Establish systems for MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning); track outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data.
Prepare impact reports for stakeholders and utilize data to inform program improvements.

Requirements

7–10 years in nonprofit leadership, program strategy, philanthropy, climate initiatives, or related fields.
Deep knowledge of environmental, climate, biodiversity, and social justice issues.
Experience supervising and developing staff.
Proven ability to manage complex programs.
Strong financial literacy and budget management skills.
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical content for diverse audiences.
Experience with program monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
Proficiency with remote work tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana.

Benefits

Salary range: $125,000–$150,000, depending on experience and location.
