Overview

Forter is a trust platform for eCommerce merchants, helping to reduce fraud and abuse in the buying experience. The Senior Engineering Manager for Decision Engineering will play a crucial role in overseeing the development of Forter's decision engine, ensuring it maintains strict latency SLAs while driving significant business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee one of Forter's most business-critical areas, ensuring SLAs and long-term quality.
• Guide top-tier engineers on planning and executing projects with technical and product risks.
• Assist engineers in developing their understanding of business value and innovating accordingly.
• Innovate the engine's capabilities, APIs, and interfaces for Forter customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing business-critical teams.
• Experience as a Staff+ Engineer or Tech Lead.
• Experience overseeing large projects with technical and/or business risks.
• Experience in performance-critical environments with high scale and demanding SLAs.
• Cool if you have experience managing Staff+ engineers and working on customer-facing technical products.
