Senior Enterprise Account Executive @Fastly

Overview

Fastly helps people stay connected through its edge cloud platform, enabling customers to create digital experiences quickly, securely, and reliably. The Senior Enterprise Account Executive will drive the expansion of Fastly in the UK market, focusing on sectors such as Commerce, SaaS, PaaS, Media, Publishing, High Tech, and Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute a Go To Market plan to meet growth objectives.
• Drive pipeline, sales, revenue, and meet or exceed quota goals.
• Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, Proof of Concepts, value proposition positioning, pricing, contract closing, and account management.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and the wider revenue team.
• Understand Fastly solutions and their applications in Edge Computing and Security.
• Work with the account management team to accelerate customer adoption and satisfaction.
• Utilize CRM tools for customer database enrichment and sales cycle reporting.

Requirements

• Established track record in business development within Enterprise Sales.
• Direct field sales experience across various verticals, including large companies.
• Proven competency in outbound prospecting and enterprise sales cycle management.
• Familiarity with Edge Cloud, security services, SaaS, PaaS, and content delivery technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English.
