Overview
Rillet is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to be a strategic people partner as the company scales past 200 employees after its Series C funding. The role involves collaborating with leaders across all functions to enhance organizational design and team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders on organization design, headcount planning, leveling, and team structure.
- Coach managers on feedback, performance, team dynamics, and difficult conversations.
- Manage employee relations from investigations to performance improvement and separations, in coordination with counsel.
- Oversee performance and compensation cycles in partnership with People Ops.
- Utilize people data to inform decisions and develop scalable playbooks.
- Implement AI to streamline repetitive HR tasks, focusing on judgment, coaching, and strategy.
Requirements
- 7+ years as an HRBP or People Partner in high-growth environments, particularly during growth from 150 to 500 employees.
- Extensive experience in employee relations and familiarity with multi-state US employment.; international experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience running performance and compensation cycles.
- Ability to quickly gain trust from leaders and communicate directly.
- Fluency in data analysis and experience using AI tools for automation.

Location
This role is open to candidates within commutable distance to the New York City or San Francisco offices, or those willing to relocate. Team members work in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an additional flexible in-office day.
