Senior Mid-Market Account Director @Five9

Overview

The Senior Mid-Market Account Director at Five9 is responsible for managing customer relationships and account strategy within a defined set of existing accounts, driving new revenue opportunities and ensuring customer retention. This is a remote position focused on relationship selling and may require up to 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish credibility and cultivate relationships with existing customers to understand their business needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with the Five9 team to develop a comprehensive sales strategy.
• Identify growth opportunities within customers’ organizations and develop tailored approaches to address them.
• Proactively identify upselling opportunities for additional Five9 products or services.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to position Five9 effectively.
• Create and drive revenue within specified regions or named accounts.
• Generate business opportunities through networking and cold-calling.
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention throughout the Implementation and Support experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of successful sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
• Experience in CCaaS and/or SaaS with an agent count between 100 - 3,000.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Success in selling at the C-level.
• Documented track record of sales excellence.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Location

This role is fully remote for candidates residing outside the 30-mile radius of one of Five9's offices. For those within the radius, it is a Hybrid role requiring in-office work three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
