Overview

Coursera and Udemy have combined to create a platform for turning learning into progress, helping over 300 million learners and 12,000 enterprise customers. This role involves managing the offers and promotions strategy for the consumer businesses of both platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end offer strategy and economics, balancing growth, retention, discount mix, and margin impact.
• Design and maintain discount frameworks and commercial policy guardrails.
• Build visibility and experimentation agendas to measure promotional performance and cannibalization risk.
• Set rules for evergreen and seasonal promotions while partnering with various teams on planning and execution.
• Build and manage an exceptions process for non-standard offers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate P&L impacts of offers and ensure compliance across markets.
• Provide leadership to a team of promotions specialists without direct management responsibility.
• Help harmonize offer and promotion practices as the company integrates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pricing, promotions, or commercial strategy within a global consumer company.
• Experience managing scalable frameworks and policies.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, able to communicate trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in subscription or marketplace consumer businesses, such as edtech, media, or e-commerce.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills.
• Familiarity with SQL or BI tools is preferred.
• Experience across multiple brands or platforms is a plus.

Benefits

Actual compensation is based on factors including job-related skills and experience, with a hiring compensation range in Austin and Denver of $156,400 - $195,500. The role is also eligible for equity.

Remote position aligned with teams in Denver or Austin, United States.
