Overview

Grafana Labs, the company behind Grafana Cloud, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for a remote position based in Spain. The role focuses on building and provisioning resources in a highly available stack that processes and stores customer data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage physical "Metal" environment from bare metal to Kubernetes.
• Oversee cluster networking components: load balancing, NAT, DNS, CNIs, and architecture.
• Handle scheduling and autoscaling tasks.
• Maintain Crossplane compositions and Terraform modules for CSP resources.
• Work with Grafana Cloud application teams to address their needs.

Requirements

• Experience working with engineers and management structures.
• Comfortable in a remote-first environment with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with distributed systems.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Holistic approach to development, managing the complete life cycle of code.
• Experience with datacenter operations and participation in an on-call rotation.
