Overview

The Senior Product Engineer II at Docebo focuses on frontend engineering, utilizing Angular and TypeScript to develop complex product experiences. This role involves owning frontend features end-to-end while driving technical direction and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect complex, multi-sprint frontend initiatives across Angular and TypeScript applications.
• Take customer-facing functionality from requirements through implementation, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Write exemplary code, establish reusable patterns, and ensure scalability and maintainability of frontend systems.
• Understand service and API contracts, navigating backend integration when necessary.
• Coordinate timelines, break down complex work, and maintain continuous delivery momentum.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical discussions to enhance frontend standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive user experiences and communicate technical tradeoffs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly Angular.
• Strong understanding of component architecture, application state, and frontend performance.
• Proven track record of managing customer-facing functionality from requirements to production.
• Comfortable working with REST APIs and navigating backend code.
• Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD processes.
• A collaborative communicator, capable of working with various teams effectively.

Location

This is a remote position. The company has a hybrid work philosophy, with three days in the office (Tuesday-Thursday).
