Senior Product Manager (Aerospace & Defense) @RTI

Overview

RTI is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the future of real-time software in the Aerospace & Defense industry. This role involves translating mission requirements into clear product needs and shaping the product roadmap to ensure RTI’s platform addresses real problems for defense programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the A&D product direction.
• Build a deep understanding of UAS, autonomy, maritime, C-UAS, and JADC2/MOSA requirements.
• Translate customer/mission requirements into clear product requirements and roadmap proposals.
• Conduct product discovery to identify pain points and operational workflows.
• Shape RTI’s platform for A&D use cases by identifying capability gaps and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize capabilities required for A&D adoption.
• Optimize pricing and overall product strategy with Sales and BD.
• Market and competitive insight to drive RTI's long-term product strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent military/industry experience).
• Strong understanding of UAS and/or Maritime systems, including autonomy and edge computing.
• Ability to connect technical features to mission outcomes and business value.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship required.
• Travel about 25% to customer sites and corporate events.
