Senior Professional Services Engineer, Actimize @NiCE

Overview

The role of Senior Professional Services Engineer at NiCE involves being a part of a customer-facing team that delivers and implements custom development for NiCE Actimize Financial Crime Prevention solutions in leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and proposed solutions for technical feasibility.
• Define and design system specifications, standards, and programming requirements for solution installation.
• Enhance solutions to meet client requirements using Actimize software, SQL, and related technologies.
• Develop custom rules and features aligned with client-specific business needs.
• Test and approve software solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
• Analyze development and service issues to provide technical inputs and recommendations.
• Use software engineering tools throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate on improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and define corrective actions.
• Document solutions clearly and maintain clean code with meaningful comments.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in software development or professional services delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and J2EE.
• Proficiency in web technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Web Services/APIs, XML, XSL.
• Experience with databases like MS SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL; knowledge of Cassandra is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with NiCE Actimize solutions implementation.
• Experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in written and spoken English.

Location
