Overview

The role involves a Senior Professional Services Engineer position at NICE Actimize. This customer-facing role focuses on delivering and implementing financial crime prevention solutions for global financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize Actimize solutions based on design specifications.
• Participate in end-to-end implementation lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, build, and deployment.
• Work closely with Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional global teams.
• Interface with customers to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Implement and configure new applications and set up environments.
• Deploy solutions and support production issues, including troubleshooting functional problems.
• Collaborate with R&D, Professional Services, and Support teams.
• Build tools and utilities to improve engineering productivity and delivery efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise software standards and best practices.
• Support customers across different time zones and occasionally work on-site.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in enterprise application development / implementation.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server and large datasets.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and workflows.
• Experience working in complex database environments.
• Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and command-line operations.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3) and cloud-based deployments.
• Knowledge or exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile / Waterfall models in a matrix organization.
