Overview

The Guttmacher Institute is seeking a Senior Research Assistant to provide critical research support for its Adding It Up (AIU) project, which focuses on sexual and reproductive health services for women and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve data collection issues.
• Clean, process, and verify data for accuracy.
• Programmatically generate tables and reports from data.
• Support senior staff in managing and analyzing international survey data.
• Conduct literature searches and draft article summaries.
• Create tables and figures for manuscripts and presentations.
• Coordinate meetings and provide operational support.
• Serve as an internal resource for software applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of related experience.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis software (e.g., Stata, R).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with reproductive health topics.
• Fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
