Senior Sales Engineer - AI Agents (DACH) @NiCE Cognigy

Overview

The role involves being a senior member of the DACH presales team at NiCE Cognigy, serving as a trusted technical advisor for complex enterprise opportunities in AI. This position focuses on winning significant deals and supporting expansion into Switzerland and Eastern European markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to strategize and execute on complex enterprise deals in the DACH region and expansion markets.
• Lead discovery calls and technical discussions with enterprise stakeholders to identify pain points and requirements.
• Create and deliver customized product demonstrations that resonate with both technical and business audiences.
• Design tailored solutions, articulating the value of NiCE Cognigy’s offerings.
• Support Proofs of Concept (POCs) and Proofs of Value (POVs) in real enterprise environments.
• Represent NiCE Cognigy at customer events, webinars, and trade shows to build market awareness.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape and provide technical comparisons against other platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share customer requirements and enablement needs.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting, with a focus on managing complex enterprise deals.
• Strong background in enterprise software, particularly contact center and automation technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI Agents and generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with programming, especially JavaScript; Java or Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of contact center technology and chatbot design.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage with audiences.
• Fluency in German and English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
