Overview
The Senior Software Engineer at NICE is a customer-facing, billable role focused on implementing, configuring, and delivering AI-driven and Conversational AI solutions. This position requires hands-on contributions, including building integrations and configuring platforms within the NICE CXone ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and deploy Conversational AI solutions according to business and technical requirements.
- Build and maintain integrations using APIs and modern web technologies.
- Implement, enhance, and optimize bot behaviors through conversational design and prompt engineering best practices.
- Develop proofs of concept (PoCs) and production-ready components.
- Support testing, validation, and go-live activities ensuring functionality across customer environments.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across SaaS applications and integrations.
- Produce documentation including specifications, test cases, and deployment materials.
- Collaborate with implementation teams and participate in customer workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience, with a preference for 1+ years in digital channels or AI/Bot software applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript; familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Experience with REST API integration patterns, authentication standards, and web security.
- Understanding of conversational UX and prompt engineering techniques.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to work in US shift (5 PM – 2 AM IST).
