Overview

The role involves working as a Senior Software Engineer within Elastic's Prism team, which is responsible for transforming Elastic Security's raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

• Own projects from technical design to production, including data modeling, background tasks, and APIs.

• Write high-quality TypeScript and React code, along with Node.js services and APIs as needed.
• Implement telemetry, tests, and safeguards for predictable system behavior in production.
• Review code and support teammates, enhancing team practices.
• Collaborate with teams across Elastic Security and other related areas.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in building and maintaining production software.
• Strong skills in TypeScript and JavaScript, especially with React and Node.js.
• Experience leading projects from conception to deployment.
• Proven track record of using AI to enhance development and optimize code.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and work autonomously in a distributed team.
