Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of search solutions at Algolia.
• Manage operations for search, including participation in out-of-hours on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with a full-remote or hybrid team.
• Ensure the quality and soundness of the search system.
• Share expertise on distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues with other teams.

Requirements

• Experience in designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience with large datasets and high traffic.
• High standards for code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.

• Experience with high-growth environments and infrastructure building ($50-200M ARR range).
