Overview
The role involves serving as a Solutions Consultant specializing in Security and Data Protection for Dropbox, acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers in North America and Latin America. Fluency in Portuguese is required, as the consultant will work directly with Portuguese-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives as the technical and security subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead technical discovery to assess customers' security architecture and business objectives.
- Help customers identify risks associated with sensitive content and inappropriate permissions.
- Translate security requirements into solution architectures and technical validation plans.
- Demonstrate Dropbox security capabilities through customer-specific use cases.
- Design and conduct proofs of concept and technical evaluations with clear outcomes.
- Advise on how Dropbox integrates within broader security ecosystems.
- Engage with various stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and technical specialists.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years in a customer-facing technical role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture and SaaS/cloud data protection.
- Deep understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data classification.
- Familiarity with Data Access Governance (DAG) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).
- Understanding of CASB technologies and integration across security architecture.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust principles.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, no more than 20%.
Benefits
Compensation in Canada is within the range of $204,900 — $277,200 CAD.
