Overview
As a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Docker, you will serve as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, ensuring they realize value from their investment in Docker’s platform. This role is part of Docker’s Customer Engineering Group, focused on delivering a seamless customer experience through collaboration with various teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with enterprise customers, understanding their technical landscape and success criteria.
- Drive product adoption and operational maturity, aligning Docker capabilities to customer objectives.
- Conduct regular technical and business reviews to demonstrate value and identify growth opportunities.
- Anticipate risks and develop mitigation plans in partnership with customers and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary post-sales technical contact for assigned accounts.
- Create and share best practices, reference architectures, and technical playbooks.
- Maintain high-quality documentation of customer engagements and success metrics.
- Support development of scalable initiatives like workshops and digital programs.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., TAM, Solutions Architect).
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud-native development practices.
- Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a global organization.
