Software Engineer @Supporting Cast

Overview

Supporting Cast seeks a passionate and creative Software Engineer with PHP and agentic engineering experience to expand its podcast subscription platform. This remote role, open to candidates in the United States, offers the excitement of a startup along with the stability of an established employer.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn about the podcast industry and the growing paid subscription market.
• Scale the application as new clients are onboarded.
• Develop and maintain user- and administrator-facing features in the existing stack.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate new feature development and enhance code quality and security.
• Build and maintain implementations for websites, including embeds and third-party integrations.

Requirements

• Experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Knowledge of Nginx, Varnish, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, and React is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AWS and Fastly CDN is desired.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
