Overview
The role of Software Engineer at NiCE focuses on developing customized solutions within the Advanced Services team, contributing to value-added services for global customers. This position is suitable for those who are passionate about software development and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop quality, proficient, enterprise-grade technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team under tight deadlines.
- Implement solid unit and integration tests according to organizational standards.
- Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.
- Review design and code for team members.
- Resolve bugs and ensure enterprise-grade quality.
- Act as a subject matter expert in multiple product components.
- Proactively contribute to process improvement activities.
- Assist peer organizations with performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong experience in the Windows ecosystem, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP .NET, MVC, and WebAPI.
- Knowledge of service to service communication using WCF, Sockets, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with MVC, AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Experience developing highly scalable, multi-user, multi-threaded, secured enterprise applications.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Hands-on development experience is required.
- Telephony experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS/Cloud Computing/Azure development and integration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
- Experience with protocol analysis and Wireshark tracing.
- Experience with VoIP, digital audio, RSTP, and video transcoding.
- Knowledge of CCaaS and Telecom.
