Overview

The Software Engineer role at NiCE involves developing, testing, and maintaining the NiCE CXone software platform. The position focuses on designing and developing products and features, while working in a collaborative and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain the NiCE CXone software platform.
• Design and develop NiCE CXone products and features.
• Conduct unit testing and code reviews.
• Resolve defects during the QA cycle.
• Support the production environment.
• Assist other developers in a team environment.
• Work on complex reporting-based projects.
• Interpret business requirements and discuss with the technical team/designers.
• Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer (Web & Server side).
• Strong Object-Oriented design and coding skills.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and web services standards.
• Experience with multi-tier web application development.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
• Exposure and hands-on experience with Agile framework and DevOps tools.
• Experience with automation in unit and system level (JUnit/TestNG).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience writing integration tests using the Cucumber framework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
