Software Engineer - Developer Experience @Dremio

Overview

Dremio is looking for a Software Engineer in Developer Experience to implement and maintain CI/CD systems and developer productivity solutions in a remote capacity. The role involves improving the efficiency and scale of Dremio’s infrastructure through innovation on tooling and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve problems for fellow Dremio engineers by leveraging and contributing to playbooks, identifying short-term workarounds, and automating processes.
• Work on infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and associated systems.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks, document resolutions, and report on CI/CD system status.
• Participate actively in code reviews.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience with large scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge and experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, BASH, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
