Overview

Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform trusted by over 10,000 organizations. They are a 100% remote company looking for a Software Engineer for their Platform Metal team, responsible for building resources in new environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the physical "Metal" environment from bare metal to Kubernetes.
• Manage cluster networking components, including load balancing, NAT, DNS, CNIs, and architecture.
• Handle scheduling and autoscaling management.
• Maintain Crossplane compositions and Terraform modules for CSP resources.
• Collaborate with Grafana Cloud application teams to understand their needs.

Requirements

• Experience with distributed systems and remote-first communication.
• Ability to manage the full lifecycle of code development.
• Background in datacenter operations and participation in an on-call rotation.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, and Shell.
