Overview

The Solutions Engineer at Algolia is a key member of the go-to-market team, playing an essential role in customer engagement and technical sales efforts. This position involves working with various stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of Algolia’s AI search solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and prospects during the evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
• Understand customer goals and align them with Algolia’s offerings.
• Assist in the sales process through technical discovery, demos, POCs, and RFP responses.
• Utilize Algolia ecosystem tools to ensure technical and functional alignment.
• Advocate for customer interests and relay feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and contribute to thought leadership.
• Work with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams for smooth post-sales transitions.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role, preferably in SaaS.
• Bilingual fluency in Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in software development (Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React; Back End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for solving customer problems.
• Experience in high-growth companies with changing environments ($150-300M+ ARR).
