Sr. Engineering Manager - Pendo for Agents @Pendo

Overview

The role involves leading the Pendo for Agents team, which focuses on building Pendo's AI and agent product area. The Senior Engineering Manager will be accountable for technical direction, delivery, engineering quality, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, supporting their onboarding and professional development.
• Own the technical direction and architecture decisions for Pendo for Agents.
• Guide prioritization, planning, and execution across the team while maintaining delivery cadence.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver high-quality features using Agile practices.
• Engage in hands-on technical leadership while coaching and growing the team.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance engineering operations and set expectations for AI integration in workflows.
• Manage hiring processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.
• Foster a healthy team culture that promotes ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Hands-on architecture experience with LLM or agent systems.
• Experience in delivering within greenfield or early-stage product areas.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deliveries and participate in sprint or quarterly planning.
• Strong front-end or back-end development skills (e.g., React, Angular, Go, Python).
• Experience hiring for technical roles and managing interview processes.

Location
