Sr. Staff Software Engineer, iOS Search and Shopping Journeys @Pinterest

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the multi-platform product strategy for Pinterest Search.
• Lead design, implementation, and productionization of features and journeys in Search.
• Utilize AI to accelerate exploration and iteration of new interaction patterns and UI/UX variations.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of 35+ engineers focused on Search front-ends.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, ML, and back-end teams to design robust APIs and experimentation hooks.
• Mentor engineers and technical leaders to develop their skills in front-end and product thinking.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in building consumer-facing products with expertise in iOS development.
• Experience leading front-end and product strategy across multiple platforms.
• Strong track record of tech-leading initiatives using A/B experimentation.
• Ability to use AI to improve workflow speed and quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $208,592 to $429,454 USD, and the role is eligible for equity.

Location

This is a remote role within the US, with the requirement to be in the office for in-person collaboration once a week for those commutable to the SF/PA offices.
