Overview

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Analyst to join its Product Analytics team. This fully remote role supports the AI organization at Grafana and focuses on measuring success for AI-powered products, including Grafana Assistant and AI observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Product to establish KPIs, dashboards, and product roadmap planning.
• Define success measurements for AI-powered product experiences.
• Guide product data instrumentation in collaboration with Design, Management, and Engineering teams.
• Design and evaluate experiments to assess the impact of AI capabilities.
• Develop dbt models for user behavior data transformations with the Analytics Engineering team.
• Influence best practices for Product Analytics and help define scaling standards.
• Contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for Product Analytics.

Requirements

• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams, familiar with product KPIs (e.g., DAU/MAU, A/B testing).
• Ability to define and track success metrics for complex product areas, especially AI features.
• Proficient in SQL with experience in writing complex queries.
• Data visualization experience with tools like Tableau, Looker, or Grafana.
• Experience with dbt models and implementing Product Analytics tools (e.g., Heap, Amplitude).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools for analysis and data modeling.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
