They are looking for a Staff-level Backend Engineer to contribute to an AI-native data intelligence system designed to enhance observability across enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

• Build core backend services for context ingestion, indexing, and retrieval.
• Create a multi-tenant SaaS architecture, ensuring tenant isolation and service reliability.
• Develop APIs for agent-facing workflows, allowing tools to access relevant data.
• Collaborate across product and infrastructure, balancing experimentation and reliability.
• Operate and monitor services using observability tools.
• Shape technical direction, including architecture and deployment practices.
• Communicate effectively and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Take ownership of AI solutions, ensuring innovation and scalability.

Requirements

• Strong engineering skills with experience in production-grade software systems.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and frameworks.
• Comfortable with fast iteration and feedback loops.
• Proven initiative in driving projects and defining scope amidst ambiguity.
• Collaborative attitude with effective communication skills.
• Experience with large language models and prompt engineering.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience using observability tools for system monitoring.
