Overview

The role involves serving as a Staff Product Manager for Connections at Pinterest, focusing on how users connect with friends, family, and communities on the platform. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate alignment among senior leaders and teams within the organization regarding product goals and execution plans.
• Provide mentorship to PMs in the Connections team, promoting a culture of experimentation and accountability.
• Prioritize safety and trust in connections, ensuring adherence to Pinterest’s values.
• Drive data-influenced decision-making for evaluating the impact of connection experiences.
• Act as a senior product leader representing the Connections area across Pinterest, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in driving engagement and growth through impactful product strategies.
• Experience in setting roadmaps and cultivating high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools for product strategy and prototyping.
• Strong skills in horizontal leadership, facilitating collaboration across different teams.
• Technical and analytical skills to work with concepts like social graphs and large-scale experimentation.
• Excellent communication skills for storytelling and garnering support from diverse audiences.
• User-centric approach to product development, particularly in sensitive areas such as relationships and community.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.

Benefits
