Overview

The World Food Forum (WFF) Startup Innovation Awards (SIA) 2026 is a global competition for youth-led agrifood startups aimed at showcasing innovative technological solutions that transform global agrifood systems. Selected startups will gain visibility, financial awards, mentorship, and access to a global ecosystem.

Eligibility

At least one founder or C-level executive must be between 18 and 35 years old.
The startup must have raised less than USD 2 million in capital and generated less than USD 2 million in revenue.
Must demonstrate evidence of solution validation through pilot implementations, partnerships, early adoption by users, and measurable impact.
Must show strong potential for growth and global impact.
Innovations should contribute to sustainable agrifood systems.

Benefits

Minimum USD 7,500 cash prize per category.
USD 2,500 runner-up awards.
USD 10,000 prize for the overall Startup of the Year.
Access to the MassChallenge Switzerland Accelerator Programme.
