Strategic Account Executive, Select Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

The role of Strategic Account Executive at Mixpanel involves owning complex and high-value accounts, comprising existing enterprise customers and new target logos. This remote position is part of the Select Accounts team, focusing on strategic relationships and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute account plans to connect Mixpanel's capabilities to customer business priorities, anticipating account trajectory.
• Develop multi-threaded relationships from practitioner level to C-suite to create champions.
• Conduct regular business reviews to showcase successes and identify growth opportunities.
• Accurately forecast and maintain a clean pipeline in Salesforce.
• Close expansion opportunities within existing accounts and prospect new logos.
• Run a disciplined sales process using MEDDPICC.
• Partner with Solutions Engineers for product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Build pipeline through self-generated outbound, BDR, channel partners, and inbound leads.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure customer value realization post-sale.
• Provide customer and market signals back to the Product team.
• Establish standards for team playbooks on account planning and mentoring other Account Executives.

Requirements

• Proven track record in managing large, complex enterprise SaaS accounts.
• Experience in closing seven-figure deals with lengthy sales cycles.
• Relationship-building skills at the VP and C-suite levels.
• Experience using MEDDPICC as a coaching tool.
• Ability to develop clear, repeatable plans for solving complex account problems.
• Experience mentoring or coaching other sales executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite meetings.
