    Job Summary

    HER Fund is seeking experienced consultant(s) to facilitate the development of its strategic plan for 2027-2030.

    The role involves guiding a participatory and inclusive process to create an actionable, future-oriented strategy that reflects diverse community voices, strengthens impact, and aligns with feminist values.

    The consultant(s) will work closely with HER Fund’s Strategic Planning Task Force, staff, board members, grantee partners, and community stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the inception and design stage, including stakeholder mapping and data review
    • Facilitate strategic co-creation workshops and synthesize insights
    • Define strategic priorities, theory of change, and outcomes

    • Draft, validate, and finalize the strategic plan with stakeholder engagement
    • Develop monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks
    • Ensure the process is participatory, inclusive, and sensitive to power dynamics

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Proven track record in strategic planning for non-profit organizations in Hong Kong
    • Deep understanding of gender equality and women’s rights issues in Hong Kong
    • Expertise in participatory, intersectional, and power-shifting approaches

    • Strong communication, research, analytical, and facilitation skills
    • Fluency in Cantonese and English (spoken and written)
    • Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings within Hong Kong
