Tech Manager, Actimize @NICE Ltd.

Overview

NiCE Actimize is seeking a Technical Manager to implement complex on-premise and hosted SaaS Actimize solutions, joining the Actimize professional services team in Pune, India. The role involves managing a team dedicated to implementation, customization, and configuration of regulatory compliance offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the team’s delivery to ensure successful releases by tracking work, dependencies, and risks, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure accountability for technical delivery and quality by following best engineering practices, including unit tests and code reviews.
• Act as the point of contact for the team and address delivery risks.
• Support team members’ technical and career growth through training, mentorship, and challenging assignments.
• Oversee individual and team utilization, and participate in hiring activities.
• Collaborate with R&D, other implementation teams, and customer support.
• Conduct regular performance management activities, providing feedback to help engineers meet career objectives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development.
• Resource management experience, including appraisals and risk management.
• 3+ years of leading a high-performing development team.
• Experience with onsite/offshore working models and senior stakeholder management.
• Background in high-performance, scalable systems and complex SaaS software products.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux and basic Shell scripting.
• Understanding of deployment practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in compliance or banking domains is a plus.
