Overview

The role of Tech Manager, Cloud Operations, is focused on leading a team of CloudOps Delivery Engineers at NiCE, responsible for the post go-live operations of cloud-based applications. This position is vital for ensuring timely upgrades, defect resolution, and performance enhancements across customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of CloudOps Delivery Engineers.
• Ensure high-quality execution of upgrades, patches, and fixes.
• Promote a culture of ownership, agility, and technical excellence.
• Oversee upgrades to the latest product versions across the customer base.
• Manage deployment of changes, enhancements, and fixes.
• Adhere to change management and CAB processes.
• Drive automation and standardization of delivery workflows.
• Assess technical feasibility and impact of proposed changes.
• Define and maintain delivery playbooks and execution plans.
• Collaborate with Program Managers for project planning and resource allocation.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Align delivery plans with CloudOps Delivery Program Managers.
• Work with internal teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Track and report on delivery KPIs.
• Implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Application Implementation, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 5+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of change, version control, and configuration management.
• Experience in a SaaS or Enterprise software environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global delivery environment.
• Preferred: Certifications in cloud platforms and familiarity with ITIL.
