Tech Manager, CX @NICE Ltd.

Overview

This position at NICE Ltd. leads multiple R&D teams developing a portfolio of enterprise-grade and cloud-scale products. The role is suitable for an established R&D leader passionate about building cloud-native, highly distributed products used in a SaaS model.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of talented engineers in development and QA.
• Manage all personnel aspects, including hiring, reviews, mentoring, and promotions.
• Own development and delivery of team components.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Software Architect on development planning.
• Act as Scrum Master for the development team.
• Liaise with the scrum team to promote good work practices and continuous improvement.
• Engage in hands-on activities such as code reviews and ensure high-quality engineering standards, including Test Automation and Unit testing.
• Participate in release planning and product strategy as part of the leadership team.
• Serve as an engineering contact for product defect management and product support queries.

Requirements

• B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of software engineers on enterprise products.
• 14-17 years of software engineering experience with Java or .Net and Angular.
• Proven track record of delivering software projects on time and within budget.
• Technological skills and background in software development.
• Leadership skills, including experience in leading, coaching, and motivating individuals.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
• Ability to influence others in complex situations.
• Proven experience in a global environment and with Agile Scrum teams.
• Experience with product companies developing enterprise software is essential.
• AI First Mindset including LLM fundamentals, ML lifecycle, NLP basics, and AI system design.
• Prepare to drive design discussions and mentor engineers in AI and system design.
