The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project focuses on:
- Strengthening HIV epidemic control
- Supporting COVID-19 response and health systems
- Improving oxygen systems and healthcare infrastructure
- Expanding MNCH (Maternal, Newborn & Child Health) + Nutrition services

Job Summary
As a Technical Officer (QI), you’ll:
- Support primary healthcare (PHC) systems
- Improve maternal, newborn, child health & nutrition (MNCH/N) services
- Work closely with data, quality improvement, and community health teams
- Report to senior technical leadership (QI & Strategic Information units)
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support
- Implement MNCH/N interventions (ANC, PNC, newborn care, nutrition)
- Strengthen PHC service delivery systems
2. Quality Improvement
- Identify service gaps & run QI cycles
- Support supervision of PHC facilities
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols
3. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Manage data collection, validation & reporting
- Conduct data quality checks
- Support analysis and learning sessions
4. Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with health workers & community structures
- Support outreach, referrals & demand creation
- Contribute to training & capacity building
🎯
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Nursing, Public Health, Community Health, etc.)
- Minimum 4 years experience in:
- MNCH / Nutrition / PHC / HIV programs
- Strong knowledge of:
- DHIS2
- Data analysis & reporting
- Quality improvement methods

Salary Range
- $12,300 – $17,000 annually (approx., based on experience and internal equity)
