    • Identifying and analysing funding opportunities from donor platforms, websites, and intelligence networks
    • Supporting proposal development cycles, including drafting, coordination, and documentation
    • Coordinating cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams during proposal preparation
    • Maintaining donor intelligence systems and knowledge repositories
    • Supporting pipeline forecasting and resource mobilisation performance tracking
    • Facilitating donor engagement meetings and follow-up actions
    • Contributing to annual planning and diversification strategies for funding portfolios
    • Supporting capacity-building initiatives for internal staff across proposal development functions

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • At least 5 years of experience in business development, resource mobilisation, grants acquisition, or proposal development in an international NGO setting
    • Experience working with US government, bilateral, multilateral, corporate, or foundation donors
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in donor intelligence and opportunity sourcing
    • Demonstrated use of SharePoint and CRM systems such as Salesforce
    • Strong track record in drafting competitive proposals (preferred for US government and multilateral donors)

    Key Skills and Competencies

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong professional and technical capabilities, including:

    • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Proficiency in Spanish or French (advantageous)
    • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint
    • Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation abilities
    • High-level technical writing skills
    • Digital literacy, including ability to adopt new technologies and AI tools
