Technical Program Manager, Finance Systems & Compliance @Notion

Overview

Notion is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee the systems, data, and processes related to billing, revenue recognition, and compliance. The role involves collaborating between Finance and Accounting and Engineering, Data, and Product to make new revenue streams operational and auditable.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Finance's technical counterpart on new product and pricing launches.
• Manage delivery and roadmaps for finance systems programs including ERP, billing, and subscription management.
• Run the operating rhythm, including prioritization, decision logs, and metrics to gauge improvement.
• Map current-state processes and drive improvements in reconciliation and data accuracy.
• Oversee IT general controls across financial systems in collaboration with Internal Audit.
• Facilitate control design integration into new systems before go-live.
• Build AI-assisted workflows to enhance team operations and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical program management, finance systems, or related fields.
• Fluency in finance operations and understanding of revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with ITGC programs and SOX requirements.
• AI-native mindset and experience using AI for project management.
• Proven ability to deliver technical programs from inception to completion.
• Ability to influence without authority and communicate with senior stakeholders.
