Overview
World Vision International is seeking a Technical Specialist – Well-being Capacity to strengthen staff care systems and organizational well-being practices across its global network. This full-time role supports the organization’s mission to improve the lives of vulnerable children by ensuring that staff members working in complex environments receive sustainable well-being support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design training modules tailored to field teams
- Develop learning resources on staff care and well-being
- Co-create leadership and peer supporter training programs
- Build regional learning networks for collaboration
- Adapt global well-being frameworks for local contexts
- Support integration of staff care into field strategies
- Strengthen local ownership of well-being initiatives
- Facilitate communities of practice across regions
- Promote South–South knowledge exchange
- Track adoption of well-being practices across teams
- Collect feedback from field staff and leaders
- Contribute to organizational reporting and Theory of Change indicators
- Work closely with risk management teams, emergency response units, and communications and HR departments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Employee well-being, Psychology, Sociology, or Adult learning
- Minimum seven years of professional experience in organizational development, capacity building, and humanitarian staff care
- Experience delivering training in multicultural environments
- Ability to adapt frameworks to diverse cultural contexts
- Strong partnership-building skills across global organizations
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
