    Overview

    The International Tax Observatory (ITO), hosted by the Paris School of Economics (PSE), is offering a one-year Research Assistant position for the 2026–2027 academic year, aimed at graduates interested in global taxation and economic policy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conducting research on taxation and related economic issues
    • Cleaning, managing, and analyzing datasets
    • Developing coding simulations and econometric models
    • Contributing to academic papers, policy reports, and publications
    • Supporting the organization of research events and workshops

    Requirements

    • A Master’s degree in economics or a related field (completed by September 2026)
    • Strong data analysis and econometrics skills
    • Proficiency in statistical programming or coding (advantageous)
    • Excellent command of English
    • Knowledge of taxation or public finance (desirable)
    • Experience in empirical research (desirable)
    • Ability to work in an international and collaborative environment (desirable)

    Benefits

    • Salary: €2,500 gross per month
    • Contracts can be extended

    Global (with potential placements in Paris or Norway)
