The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is seeking a Regional Programmes Support Coordinator to join its team in Manchester. This full-time, on-site role offers a starting salary of £35,604 per annum, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Support country strategies and business plans.
- Manage donor relationships and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate multi-country programme activities.
- Contribute to proposal development and funding acquisition.
- Act as the focal point for a portfolio of regional programmes.
- Facilitate coordination between headquarters and field teams.
- Ensure effective internal communication across departments.
- Conduct research to identify funding opportunities.
- Support strategic engagement with donors and partners.
- Undertake international travel to programme locations (approximately 25% of working time).
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting and monitoring overseas programmes.
- Experience working with institutional donors such as government agencies, the European Union, and United Nations bodies.
- Strong skills in reviewing donor-facing documents.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, collaborative and team-oriented.
- Additional language proficiency, particularly French, is desirable.
