Overview

The Schuman Traineeship Programme offers structured professional experience within the European Parliament Secretariat, providing early-career professionals and graduates the opportunity to work within EU institutional structures.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Must hold citizenship of a European Union Member State (with limited exceptions).
• Must meet required language proficiency standards.
• Must hold a full university degree (EQF Level 6) or a vocational education qualification (EQF Levels 3–5, limited positions).
• Must have a clean criminal record.
• Must not have previously worked for more than two months in an EU institution or body.
• Must not have completed a recent study visit at the European Parliament Secretariat within six months prior to the traineeship start date.
