    Overview

    The United Nations Development Programme is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Procurement Analyst under a National Personnel Service Agreement (NPSA-8). This is a home-based, full-time role within the Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure full compliance with UNDP procurement rules and policies.
    • Support preparation and monitoring of procurement plans.
    • Manage procurement processes, including Requests for Quotations, Invitations to Bid, and Requests for Proposals.
    • Evaluate bids and negotiate contract terms.
    • Prepare purchase orders and contracts.
    • Implement corrective actions for procurement errors.
    • Conduct market research to inform procurement strategies.
    • Provide procurement guidance to programme teams and document best practices.

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree in a relevant field, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain operations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective decision-making and negotiation abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Benefits
