The West African Institution of Public Health WAIPH Call for trainers @Unknown

The West African Institution of Public Health WAIPH is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals to serve as facilitators for the upcoming Young Professionals in Public Health YPPH three month training program. The initiative is designed to strengthen the capacity of emerging public health professionals. It does this by equipping them with practical knowledge, skills, and insights required to address current public health challenges.

The Young Professionals in Public Health program is an online capacity development initiative that focuses on building competencies in key areas of public health practice. Through structured virtual learning sessions, the program will provide participants with opportunities to gain knowledge from experienced professionals. In addition, they will develop practical skills relevant to the public health sector.

WAIPH is seeking facilitators who possess strong expertise in public health or closely related disciplines and who have the ability to deliver engaging informative and interactive online sessions. Selected facilitators will support the learning process by guiding participants through important public health topics. Furthermore, they will share practical experiences and professional insights that will enhance the learning experience.

Facilitators are expected to demonstrate excellent communication and facilitation skills as well as the ability to engage diverse groups of young professionals in an online learning environment. They must also be able to commit to the full duration of the training program. This will ensure continuity and quality learning outcomes.

The program will run for a period of 3 months with online sessions held on a bi weekly basis. Facilitators will be expected to dedicate approximately 1 to 2 hours per week to the training sessions.
