    Women’s Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative WRAHP has extended the deadline for its Call for Expressions of Interest for a three day Safety and Digital Protection Training. The training is designed for activists journalists and human rights defenders who are currently facing or have experienced physical or digital threats while carrying out their work.

    The programme aims to strengthen participants’ capacity to manage personal and professional risks while continuing their advocacy work. The training will focus on improving physical security digital safety collective protection strategies and psychosocial resilience for individuals working in sensitive and high risk environments.

    This opportunity is open to individuals based in Edo and Lagos State who are actively engaged in human rights work including gender justice accountability anti corruption and community advocacy. The training will provide participants with practical tools knowledge and strategies to protect themselves their data and their networks. In addition, these skills will help them while navigating challenging working conditions.

    The training will be conducted over a period of three days and participation is fully sponsored. Selected participants will benefit from expert led sessions peer learning and practical guidance. These are aimed at strengthening personal safety and resilience while carrying out advocacy and human rights work.

    Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their Expressions of Interest before the new application deadline of 22 March.

    Applicants who have already submitted their application do not need to apply again.
