Work Schedule: Five days per week, office-based in Geneva, Switzerland

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is offering a traineeship opportunity within its Multilateral Diplomacy Programme (MDP). This traineeship is designed for students and recent graduates interested in gaining professional experience in a multicultural environment.

Eligibility

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree in fields such as international relations, education, history, law, political science, or languages.
Or be a recent graduate (within two years of graduation) from the aforementioned disciplines.
Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.
Have experience in organizing field visits, events, or online training programmes.
Possess excellent social and interpersonal skills.
Have knowledge of the United Nations system and international affairs.
Uphold UN values including cooperation, respect, and solidarity.

Assets include:
Strategic marketing and partnership management experience.
Digital content creation for social media.
Existing networks with potential partners and participants.

Benefits

While the traineeship is unpaid, participants will receive a monthly lump sum of CHF 900 to cover transportation and miscellaneous costs.
