    Overview

    The UN Women Internal Audit Internship offers an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates passionate about technology, data analytics, and governance to gain practical experience in internal audit and risk management within an international organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Power BI Dashboard Development – Assist in designing, building, and validating a technology-driven Internal Audit Risk Assessment dashboard.
    • Data Analytics and AI Tools – Support Internal Audit Specialists in developing data-driven techniques to enhance risk assessments.
    • Risk-Based Audits Support – Assist with audits on performance, governance, compliance, project management, and internal controls.
    • Documentation and Manuals – Help prepare guidance materials for performing audits using Power BI.
    • Collaboration – Work closely with the audit team, providing analytical support and feedback.

    Requirements

    • Education – Enrolled in a graduate program or final year of a bachelor’s degree, or recently graduated within two years.
    • Skills – Proficiency in Power BI and data analytics; strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Languages – Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

    Benefits

    Interns will receive a stipend to partially subsidize living costs for the duration of the internship, allowing full focus on skill development.
