MEAL Officer – Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa)
Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa), a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian and developmental organization established in 2014, is recruiting a MEAL Officer to support its WFP-Community-Based Nutrition Support Programme (Tom Brown Approach) in Katsina. The successful candidate will manage monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning processes, ensuring data integrity, high-quality program implementation, and evidence-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
The MEAL Officer will develop monitoring frameworks, indicators, and data collection tools, conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments, and monitor project progress against targets. They will manage databases, perform data analysis, and generate reports and dashboards. The officer will establish feedback and complaint response mechanisms, facilitate learning sessions, document best practices, and prepare monitoring and donor reports.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, Public Health, or related field, with 3–5 years of experience in MEAL in development or humanitarian programs. Proficiency in tools such as Kobo Toolbox, Google Forms, COMMcare, Excel, Power BI, or SPSS is required.

MEAL Assistant – Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa)
GHIV Africa seeks a MEAL Assistant to support its WFP-Community-Based Nutrition Support Programme in Katsina. Reporting to the MEAL Officer, the assistant will help implement monitoring frameworks, maintain databases, collect and verify data, and support reporting and visualization of project results.
Key Responsibilities:
The MEAL Assistant will support data collection and cleaning, generate indicator reports, participate in field monitoring, facilitate accountability activities, and assist in capacity building. They will also contribute to documentation of lessons learned, success stories, and program improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with 2–3 years of experience in MEAL or monitoring and evaluation in humanitarian or development projects. Proficiency in Kobo Collect, ODK, or COMMcare is required.

PSEA and Gender Officer – Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa)
GHIV Africa is recruiting a PSEA and Gender Officer to lead gender and PSEA initiatives for staff, volunteers, and community members in Katsina under the WFP-Community-Based Nutrition Support Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
The officer will conduct gender analysis, ensure gender-sensitive programming, promote women’s participation, implement PSEA policies, establish safe reporting mechanisms, provide training on gender and PSEA, monitor gender inclusion, and report on program activities. Coordination with UN agencies, NGOs, and government actors is required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Human Rights, or related fields, with 2–3 years of experience in safeguarding, gender mainstreaming, or PSEA in NGOs or developmental organizations. Proficiency in English, Hausa, and Fulani is required.

Finance Assistant – Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa)
GHIV Africa is seeking a Finance Assistant to support financial management of donor-funded projects in Katsina. The role includes processing payments, maintaining financial records, assisting with budget monitoring, ensuring compliance with donor regulations, and preparing financial reports.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with 1–2 years of finance experience, preferably within an NGO or donor-funded project. Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or ATS are an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is required.
